“In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different.” —Coco Chanel

Jeri Delgado began her hairdressing career back in the 80’s starting at Vidal Sassoon, which led to a 13 year relationship in Chicago, Boston and London.  As a result of her dedication and commitment, Jeri was awarded “Stylist of the Year”, and quickly promoted to “Creative Director” and then a proud member of the "Vidal Sassoon International Team".  This started many trips to London for Jeri, including travel to Tokyo, Milan, Toronto, New York, and Los Angeles teaching and demonstrating to small and large audiences alike.

Jeri's curious nature took her on a one year sabbatical to Paris, France studying the language and culture. This trip became an added dimension to her repertoire of hairdressing, art and personality, and led to many return visits to Paris.

Always evolving, Jeri landed a freelance position with Celestine, an elite production and talent agency in Los Angeles, working with and styling celebrities and models like Charlize Theron, Kylie Minogue, and Elle MacPherson.

Returning back home to Chicago, Jeri reconnected with past co-workers and friends at TRIO Salon, where she built a faithful following of behind the chair clients while contributing her time organizing fashion, charity and education events throughout the city.

Currently working as a Senior Stylist at George Charles Salon located on Chicago's fashionable Oak Street, Jeri has gained a reputation for being a gifted stylist, educator and visionary who captivates audiences at all levels.

In-Salon Education

EDUCATION

GUEST ARTIST

Jeri has a tremendous amount of experience in advanced training, and is available in-salon as an artist and educator.

She will demonstrate usable Cut & Style techniques with easy-to-understand language, diagrams and photos. The goal is to create a more profitable, better versed, stylist using a refreshing, fun and salon-creative approach.

A non-manufacturer education, based solely on Building Better Relationships with your client and turning them into Re-Booking, Referrals and Retail Sales.

A DAY IN THE SALON

OPTION ONE

10am - 12pm - Cut + Style Demonstration

•  Haircut broken down into technique, highlighting balance and correct weight distribution.

•  In-depth consultation, pointing out key areas of where add-on services can be implemented.

•  How to draw a detailed diagram of the haircut for future reference.

•  Rebooking, Referrals and Retail with an emphasis on customer service.

1pm - 6pm - Client Appointments

One-hour appointments with pre-scheduled clients. A great way to "walk the walk!"

OPTION TWO

10am - 11:30am/11:30am - 1pm - Cut + Style Demonstration

(see above)

2pm - 5pm - Client Appointments or Hands-On Workshop

(Workshop limited to no more than 6 stylists for optimal class results.)

5pm - 6pm - Recap

Challenges, breakthroughs and should-have, could-haves!

DEMONSTRATIONS

Salon to provide (unless previously arranged) one or two models for haircut services. Models to be open for cut change and perhaps color, (performed by salon staff members.) Recommendation is to charge a discounted fee for both services.

HANDS-ON WORKSHOP

Salon to provide no more than six stylists willing to go through in-depth cutting instruction. Models to be open for a cut change allowing at least 2-3 hours for class time. Recommendation is to charge a discounted fee.

RECAP

With Option 2, scheduled time is allowed to discuss the day with thought provoking questions.

CLIENT APPOINTMENTS

One-hour appointments are pre-schedule through salon at pre-determined price. All fees including retail sales go back to salon, excluding gratuity if any. This is a great way to see instruction in practice and to partially recoup class fee.

PRICING

As each class is custom, fees are based on several factors: (1) Size of Class, (2) Day, (3) Demo, Hands-On or both, (4) Travel & Accommodations and (5) Budget
